Qualmark confirms two new sectors

Qualmark have announced the two new names for the previous "Self-contained and Serviced" sector will be "motel" and "apartment". The decision, made in consultation with key industry leaders should benefit both licence holders and consumers.

New criteria for the Motel sector have been confirmed with apartment criteria currently being developed and expected to be available by April 2012.

Motel assessments will commence in late January and Apartment assessments in April of 2012.

New logos for both sectors will be available in 2012.
